Bio
My work in the Information Technology Department at the The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum included updating the Guggenheim Staff Intranet. This requires using a Joomla Content Management System. In addition, I edited software documentation, uploaded and translated the PDF's into HTML pages. I also created dynamic tools for organizing content, such as sortable tables for The Museum System Exhibition Mnemonics.
I designed and coded a PHP site with Nicole Weber for Stammtisch: The German Language Club at NYU in a Web Development and Programming course. Website features include registration, log in, RSVP, and view and sort members that were stored in mySQL database.
I created a Flash menu and slide show after taking a course in Action Script programming. I chose the colored bars, a recognizable test pattern for TV transmission, because I myself was testing for a signal, seeking feedback.
I employed JavaScript functions to animate the site's horizontal accordion navigation. I'm currently teaching myself techniques in CSS use to improve accessibility and maintain web standards.
I set up a JavaScript tabbing menu system for client Neurologist and Certified Sleep Medicine Doctor, Audrey Stein Goldings, M.D.
